Ejayne's Planning Bio

The Dress!

I tried on lots of dresses at many different stores, but this is the one that kept coming back to me. It's Mori Lee, style 2201. I ordered it from Pearl's Place over the phone, and got a great deal (saved myself close to $400 over buying it locally). I am absolutely in love with this dress, and can't wait to see the look on David's face when he sees me in it on our wedding day!

Here are the pieces I bought to wear with the dress  (hair comb not pictured). The earrings and necklace will look exactly like that, but the bracelet will have all pearls (none of the big crystals). They're all from Kirstie Kelly's Disney Fairy Tale Weddings line, and were purchased from Signature Bridal in Bee Cave.

I could pick any number of things for my "something new" but I'll go with the shoes because they're my favorite so far. (Augusta Ballet Flats in Soft Apricot by J. Crew)

This is the clutch I bought (on sale!), also from J. Crew. I love the ruffles! :)

For the garter, I wanted something simple, and pure white to coordinate with my lingerie. I bought this garter from etsy seller PetereneDesign. Huge selection, and no extra charge for custom sizes!

I found this silver locket, and will use this as my "something blue". (The rose is blue!) I love that it is a book, because reading is one of my favorite things to do. I've decided that I will also find pictures of my late Great-Grandma Maria and my Grandpa Ed to put inside the locket. I know they will be there in spirit, but I like the idea of having their pictures close by throughout the entire day.  I don't think it's the right necklace to go with my dress though, so I plan to attach it to my bouquet with some ribbon. I found this Lollia perfume at Maya* on South Congress. I love the scent, and the bottle is adorable!

Bridesmaid & Flower Girl Dresses

All four of my bridesmaids and the flower girl will be wearing black dresses of their choosing. Pics below: Kayce's dress, Anjanette's dress, Katie H's dress, Cameron's flower girl dress. No picture for Katie P's dress, but it's pretty!

David & The Groomsmen

We picked out the tux at Tuxedo Junction (first pic below), and David has warmed up to the idea of the classic vest/tie look. Ivory vest and tie for him, dark gray/black for the groomsman. He just wanted a more interesting tie than they had available at the tux shop, so we found one a very nice one for him at Macy's. We picked a vest/tie combo for the groomsmen similar to the second pic below.

The Moms

My mom bought the first dress pictured here, from Jasmine Bridal, in the Jade collection, style# J2207. The second picture is from when we were at the store and she tried it on. It's will look exactly like that, except one size bigger so it fits properly. Doesn't she look great in it? :)

I'm not sure if this is the exact dress, but David's mom wound up with something like this from Macy's, in pink.
